This study validates the effects of the introduction of the electronic medical recording system in hospital. Previous studies on the electronic medical recording system and medical management have focused on reporting how they introduced the system. However, it is needed to verify practical effectiveness of introduction of the electronic medical recording systems. As for the verification, modeling and simulation of medical services with the new systems is needed, to make decision in management and to improve its services. In this study, we first analyzed how outpatients behave, with data such as their arriving time, their leaving time, reservation ratio, duration of service providing time, and intervention pattern of each department. Then, reproduced the outpatient behavior patterns and made traces visible through figures. Changes of medical services are also become evident. As the results, through our evaluation system, the effects of the introduction of the electronic medical recording system become obvious. The introduction influence outpatient behaviors, thus improved the quality of the medical services. |
