| 内容記述 | Abstract: Carl Ransom Rogers proposed three conditions required of counselors: (1) genuineness or self-congruence, (2) unconditional positive regard, and (3) empathic understanding. This study examined Christian aspects of self-congruence. Self-congruence means the state in which the "actual self" and "idealized self" are consistent. Only Jesus Christ completely met all these conditions. The keyword for exploring Jesus's self-congruence is "the least of these." There were four phases in the process through which Jesus achieved complete self-congruence: (1) Jesus realized that he himself was one of "the least of these," (2) self-awareness, (3) awareness of spirituality, and (4) spiritual conversion. When Rogers was young, he recognized that Jesus was "the son of a human being," not" the son of God." If Jesus were the son of God, He would be a faraway existence, only to be looked up to. On the other hand, if Jesus were the ethical son of a human being, Rogers might be able to reach him. Rogers decided to take the latter perspective, and kept developing as a counselor, following Jesus's way of life, which corresponded to the four phases described above. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | 要約：C.R.ロジャーズはカウンセラーの三条件を提唱している。それは①「純粋性」または「自己一致」、②「無条件の肯定的尊重」、③ 「共感的理解」である。このうち本稿では①の「自己一致」のキリスト教的側面を検討する。自己一致とは「あるがままの自分」と「思い込みの自分」とが一致することである。カウンセラーの三条件を完全に満たしているのはイエス＝キリスト唯一人である。イエスの「自己一致」という面を探究する場合のキーワードは「最も小さき者」である。イエスが完全なる「自己一致」を達成させていくプロセスには次の4 段階がある。第1 段階：イエス自身も「最も小さき者」の一人と気づくこと。 第2段階：自己覚醒。第3 段階：スピリチュアリティの覚醒。第4 段階：変革体験。青年期のロジャーズは、イエスは「神の子」ではなく「人の子」であるとの認識に達する。イエスが「神の子」であれば、それは仰ぎ見るだけの遠い存在である。その一方で、イエスが高度に倫理的な「人の子」であれば、ロジャーズも、そこに到達できる可能性が芽生える。ロジャーズは後者の立場を採った。そしてロジャーズは、イエスと同じ道をカウンセリングの世界で歩み続けたのである。 その道とは、上述したイエスの4 段階に対応しているのである。 |
