| 内容記述 | Morning meetings, which are performed every morning in modern Japanese kindergarten, are considered by many schools to be an important time for children as the start of daily activities in kindergarten life. The focus for this paper is how "kaishu," the origin of the morning meeting, has undergone transformations based on its historical background. In this paper, I perform a specialized study of specific "kaishu" content and analyze its position in Japanese kindergartens. This paper aims to clarify the significance of Buddhist efforts in early childhood education and to discuss the significance of "kaishu" in the history of Japanese kindergarten education. Firstly, I describe the position and history of "kaishu" in Japanese kindergartens, focusing on the Tokyo Women's Normal School-affiliated kindergarten. Generally speaking, "kaishu" is a gathering held at the start of almost every morning. All kindergarten children gather in the playroom, and the head teacher leads children in conversation or song. "Kaishu" content is composed of fantasy stories, songs, or games and is related to seasons, events, or other childcare subjects of the day. Kindergartens in the latter half of the Meiji Era were supposed to incorporate dramatic fantasy stories or cautionary tales into "kaishu". Results show that morning meetings that are held at kindergartens and childcare centers nationwide originated from the kindergartens affiliated with the Tokyo Women' s Normal School, which was the first kindergarten in Japan after the establishment of the Meiji Era. As kindergarten regulations have been repeatedly revised along with societal transitions from era to era, morning meeting has undergone transformations and spread to kindergartens nationwide. |

| 内容記述 | 現代の日本の幼稚園で毎朝行われている朝の会は、幼稚園生活に於ける一日の活動の始まりとして、幼児にとって重要な役割を担う時間と考えている園は少なくない。その起源である「会集」が、歴史的背景によりどのように変容を遂げてきたのか、それが本稿の基底にある問題関心である。本研究では、「会集」の具体的内容に特化した検討をすることに意義があると考え、日本の幼稚園における「会集」の位置づけを分析した。その際に、東京女子師範学校附属幼稚園を中心に我が国の幼稚園における「会集」の歴史を踏まえた上で、日本の幼稚園教育史における「会集」のもつ意義を論考することを目的とした。 全国の幼稚園をはじめとする保育の場で行われている朝の会（お集まり） は、明治期開設の日本で最初の幼稚園である東京女子師範学校附属幼稚園を起源として、その時代の変遷とともに、全国の幼稚園に浸透し変容をとげてきたといえる。 | |||||||||
