| 内容記述 | In a previous study by the author，spatial inhibition of return (IOR) has not been observed in a frequency discrimination task. The present study conducted the identical task，prohibiting saccade preparation to a peripheral left or right cue as a possible cause of the negative result in the previous study. Participants performed a spatial cueing task with frequency discrimination，while fixating a central location in front of them or repeating vertical (downward and upward) saccades. Again，spatial IOR was not obtained. This result indicated that the negative result in the previous study did not result from saccade preparation to the cue. The present study suggested that increasing variation of the cues and resultant working memory load may be related to generation of spatial IOR in the nonspatial discrimination task within audition. | |||||||||
